CAREERS

Build the Future of AI

Small team. Real impact. We're building AI solutions for organizations that need them most.

WHY CODAVYN

Work That Actually Matters

We're a small, senior team that builds AI solutions for federal agencies and commercial organizations. No layers of management. No busywork. You'll work directly on problems that matter — modernizing legacy systems, building custom AI platforms, and helping organizations use AI responsibly.

As a Women-Owned Small Business, we value diverse perspectives and believe the best solutions come from teams that think differently. We're growing and looking for people who want to build something meaningful.

What We Offer

Remote-First

Work from anywhere in the US. We collaborate asynchronously and meet when it matters.

AI-Native Tooling

We use AI tools every day — not just to build for clients, but to accelerate our own work. You'll use the latest AI development tools.

Meaningful Work

Federal and commercial clients with real problems. No busywork, no maintaining abandoned projects. Every project ships.

Small Team, Big Responsibility

You'll have real ownership over your work. Architecture decisions, technology choices, client relationships — not just ticket execution.

About the Role

We're looking for an AI Engineer who can build production AI systems end-to-end. You'll work directly with clients to understand their challenges, design solutions, and deliver working software. This isn't a research role — you'll ship real products that solve real problems for federal agencies and commercial organizations.

You'll be one of the first engineers on a growing team, which means you'll have significant influence over our technology choices, development practices, and engineering culture.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build custom AI/ML solutions for client engagements
  • Develop production-ready applications using modern AI frameworks and cloud infrastructure
  • Work directly with clients to translate business problems into technical solutions
  • Build data pipelines, train models, and deploy them into production environments
  • Implement responsible AI practices including bias testing, governance, and documentation
  • Contribute to internal tooling and development processes
  • Participate in technical proposals and client presentations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience building AI/ML systems
  • Strong Python skills with experience in frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar
  • Experience deploying models to production (not just notebooks)
  • Comfortable with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with LLMs, RAG systems, or generative AI applications
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • US citizenship (required for federal client work)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with government or defense clients
  • Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Experience with responsible AI frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act)
  • Full-stack development skills (React, Node.js, or similar)
  • Experience with computer vision or NLP applications
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Fully remote work anywhere in the US
  • Flexible hours and async-first culture
  • Latest AI tools and development environment
  • Direct client interaction and project ownership
  • Influence over technology decisions and company direction
  • Professional development budget
